Most traditional wheelchair seating systems rely on pressure distribution to help decrease pressure under bony prominences. Ride’s products capitalize on the physics of force isolation to completely remove pressure and shear from high-risk areas and isolate them to areas more tolerant of pressure and shear.

Airpulse PK - The Automatic Wheelchair Cushion System
Our most dynamic wheelchair cushion is the Airpulse PK. Alternate cells inflate and deflate automatically to the desired pressure on an adjustable timed cycle. Custom built to the client’s specific physical characteristics, current health status and future needs. Three models to choose from.
Ideal for those clients who:
- Currently have pressure sores
- Are at high risk of developing pressure sores
- Recently had skin flap surgery to repair a pressure sore
